Start your engines! Texas Motor Speedway is your premier entertainment destination in North Texas. Located just down Hwy 114, Texas Motor Speedway features Nascar and IndyCar Series races throughout the year for every type of race fanatic. The 1.5mi, 4-turn course was once considered the fastest, non-restrictor plate track in the NASCAR circuit and the 180,000+ capacity speedway cost a whopping $250M to build back in 1996.
The track features 9 major races throughout the year, most notable of all being the Sprint Cup Series – Duck Commander 500. This race pulls in spectators from all over the country looking to catch a piece of the action every April. Other than NASCAR and IndyCar races, Texas Motor Speedway also hosts a variety of other events including Monster Truck races and several well attended concerts.
